Madrid Airport Terminal 2

Madrid Airport Terminal 2 handles European and Intra-Schengen flights, and also some intercontinental flights. 

Terminal 2 is home of boarding gates C and D.

Levels

Madrid Airport Terminal 2 has the levels described below:

Ground level

Arrivals and baggage claim area (center).

From this level it is possible to connect to Terminal 3.

First level

Check-in area.

You can find which check-in desk is assigned to your flight on the information screens.

Second level

Departures.

Please note that the boarding area is located in the center of this level and is split into D gates D53-D66 (west) with connection to Terminal 3, and C49-C43 (east) connecting to Terminal 1.

Distance inside the terminal

Distances in that terminal can be huge. Please, check walking times here: 

Walking times from security check to gates: 

Time to the farthest D gate: 2 to 5 minutes. 

Transfer between terminals

Frequent shuttle buses connect Terminal 2 to Terminal 1, Terminal 3 and Terminal 4. See more information below:

On the other hand, connection to Terminal 3 is also possible from the ground level.
